Collaborate more efficiently with Microsoft Teams
Do you start your work daily with Microsoft Outlook startup or start your day with Microsoft Teams? The latter is smarter, because then your colleagues know whether you are available or sitting in a meeting. But Teams have many more clever features.
Access everywhere
Microsoft Teams combines the attractive, fast and mobile way of communicating with the modern workplace. It makes collaborative, mutual communication and knowledge sharing within teams easy.
A central hub for teams
Microsoft Teams integrates almost all parts of Office 365 and is a central hub for teamwork. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, planner, Power BI and Delve are all integrally linked so that team members can use their relevant information and tools with a simple click.
In short Like Outlook, Teams are a real ‘ workspace ‘ where you can spend the whole day without ever jumping from app-to-app. If you want to do this, you can easily switch from, for example, Onedrive to Teams or from planner to SharePoint while maintaining context. This is because all these tools use Office 365 groups, which make all rights and relationships consistent throughout Office 365.
Part of Office 365
With the addition of Teams to the office 365 package (free part of our Business (essentials & Premium) and Enterprise (E1 & E3) packages), Office 365 becomes a working environment with unrivalled collaboration capabilities. All the tools needed for efficient work from the cloud are bundled in the Office suite for the modern entrepreneur.
A practical example of working with Microsoft Teams
It can sometimes be difficult to see the added value for your own organisation by using an article. Therefore a practical scenario as an example.
A Team has been created for the support department of a company. If a support professional does not know the answer to a specific customer question, he will put the question in the chat Teams. He knows that the question comes to the whole team and the person who is online can respond to it. The rest can read (afterwards), know when the question has been answered and is directly aware of the details.
Efficiency advantage: This method works better than sending an email to a group of people, where that single mail can lead to a cluttered conversation of dozens of emails.
Within a Team it is also possible to set up multiple channels. This allows you to deal with different themes without having to go through other conversations. The support team in this example could easily set up a channel per customer or product.
